  Mulled Cider
From: The Kitchen of MadClikr
Yield: 1/2 Gallon

1/2 gallon apple cider
1 orange
6 whole cloves
1 large cinnamon stick
Three grates of a whole nutmeg (recommended), or a pinch of pre-ground nutmeg

Pour the apple cider into a sufficiently large pot. Add the cinnamon stick and the nutmeg. Peel the orange and separate into its sections. Cut each orange section in half horizontally and stick the cloves into the orange pieces. Add all of the orange pieces to the cider. Heat to a simmer on medium heat and simmer for about half an hour. Enjoy!
